Returning to Saqqara in 2025

We are very much looking forward to our next field season at Saqqara. After some delay that was beyond our control, we are ready to resume our work in the shadow of the magnificent Step Pyramid. As always, there is much to do and never enough time, so planning is key to complete the essential bioarchaeological data collection and documentation of human and textile remains from the funerary context.
We will report on the progress of our work in due course. In the meantime, we are getting ready to travel to Egypt. The work will commence in February. Stay tuned!
