The Poles on the Nile Conference, University of Warsaw

Annual meeting of archaeologists with active research in the Nile Valley took place at the Institute of Archaeology, University of Warsaw, in June 2024. The event is a platform for presenting the most current findings and research led by the Polish or foreign scholars affiliated at the Polish institutes. You can read more about the event here.

On the first day of the conference, Iwona presented the project and the preliminary results of her research into the seasonality of death at Saqqara, childhood morbidity and mortality, as well as the most interesting textile and botanical findings contributed by Magda and Mennat.
